after hunger games

So you've seen one of the best movies in ages, and the sequel is at least a year away.  What to do next?  Here are five ways to keep the hunger at bay.

1.  Do the Trifecta.  Read the book, download the soundtrack and go see the movie (again).

2.  Play Super Smash TV.  Get up in the attic, dig out the snes and take part in this gory reality show of the future.

3.  Check out the actors back catalogue.  Our awesome duo, has been awesome before.  Here is our pick of their best.

Jennifer Lawrence in Winter's Bone.  Bleak it may be, but it is stylistically similar to the early scenes of THG.

Josh Hutcherson in Bridge to Terabithia.  Beautiful movie.

Jennifer Lawrence in  X-Men First Class, (for when your not in the mood for Winters Bone).

Josh Hutcherson in The Kids Are Alright.  A very modern family.

4.  Check out some movies with similar themes.  Get some more extreme reality TV, Japanese Style in Battle Royale;  see Arnie take part in some deadly TV games in The Running Man; and see television executives play god in The Truman Show.  Finally check out the love story that echoes throughout THG, William Shakespeare's  Romeo + Juliet.

5.  Finish the trilogy.  Read the other two books, or listen to the rather fine audio versions from Audible.
