Heat magazine's British, under 30's rich list - top ten

Heat magazine have published their "under 30's rich list". Brit pop group, One Direction are the highest new entry at number five.
There do seem to be some oddities in how the list is calculated. For example, the five members of One Direction are aggregated into a single entry- but Cheryl Cole gets her own entry. So her group, Girls Aloud, who earned more than One Direction - aren't on the list. Also there are no footballers on the list, despite the fact they are often rich and under thirty. Whatever its faults, it still makes good reading (Last years positions in brackets).
10. (8) Katie Melua £11.066 million
9. (7) Cheryl Cole £13.4 million
8. (6) Leona Lewis £13.66 million
7. (5) Rupert Grint £23.466 million
6. (16) Adele - £26.066 million
5. (NE) One Direction £26.330 million
4. (4) Emma Watson £26.533 million
3. (2) Keira Knightley £32.7 million
2. (3) Robert Pattinson - £38.733 million
1. (1) Daniel Radcliffe - £53.33 million

War Horse gallops on to Sky Movies

Stephen Spielberg's War Horse arrives on pay TV in the UK today, on Sky Movies. The movie split critics on its release, with some decrying its improbability and sentimentally. What these critics seamed to miss, was that this is one of the few modern war films that is accessible to children. In my opinion the movie's main deficiency, is the episodic nature of its storytelling. By quickly moving from one set of characters, to another; it makes it very difficult to empathise with them, because they are on screen for so little time. However, because the movie is so beautifully crafted and well acted, it more than manages to make up for the shortcomings of its structure.

December 31st will see the final performance of Terminator 2 : 3D at Universal Studios Hollywood. The impressive attraction, which combines 3D and live actors, and has operated in Hollywood since 1999. The original version, which opened at Universal Studios Florida in 1996, will remain open. It is understood that the Hollywood version will replaced by the Despicable Me attraction that recently opened in the Florida park. Here is an aerial shot of the Hollywood venue and some of the original concept art.
This will be the first attraction to be replaced as part of the twenty year; Universal Evolution plan- which will finally get approval in the coming days. It will bring at least five new rides/shows, including the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. There will also be upto three new tram attractions, two new hotels and an expanded Citywalk area.
